ADD YOUR SMILING FACE TO YOUR PROFILE!

No more of those quick pics taken from our front desk after your workout.   With our new system you can add your own choice of a profile picture!   Just click the image icon and upload a picture of your choice.  Pick a good one!

 

 

scheduling CLASSes AT EMAC

See in this short video how to access the EMAC Class Schedule and RSVP for either in-person or virtual classes. Once you've reserved your spot you'll be able to check-in to the class as well. 

 

Adding progress Photos

Don't worry... only YOU and the people you designate can view the photos!  :-).  And photos are a great way to see and track changes.  Our EMAC Membership app gives you a single place to store these and have them handy for whenever you need them.  From your mobile app, you'll have access to add before and after photos from your device of choice. You can update photos every 4 weeks so you can see the progress you're making.  Sometimes the changes are subtle and sometimes you don't notice them in your day to day activities.  Progress Photos are a great way to gain insight and knowledge on just how well you're doing!

SETTING UP YOUR EMAC NUTRITION MACROS

In the Nutrition section or our member app, you'll see how to access and set up your macronutrients. This will take you through a simple 7-step process that will ask you questions to identify, based upon your goals, how much food, and what types of foods, you should be eating each day.   This is a great tool for getting started with understanding your nutritional needs.

SeTTING UP a meal plan

Once you've created your macros, you'll be able to select from a number of professional developed meal plans. These meal plans are part of your membership if you're part of our Training Membership team.  For Community members, we can work with you to add this to your membership.

Once in our EMAC meal plans, you'll find a number of standard meal plans available to you through the app.  Need more?  Want to customize your meal plans?  As with the macronutrients, we are so fortunate to have a trained and licensed RDN on staff to help out.  Send us a quick email to:  info@eastmemphisathletic.com and we'll get you set up with Emily Faquin who will work with you at any level you want to optimize your nutrition plans.  

LOGGING YOUR WORKOUTS, MAXES, PR's, AND MEASUREMENTS

From this short video, you'll see how to access your online persoanl fitness journal. Here you'll be able to add workouts, track your maxes and PR's, add measurements, as well as take notes in our open text submission field.

So much better than trying to remember everything or keeping scraps of paper with you.   The EMAC Membership app is set up so you have access to this crtical info at your fingertips at any time.  There's an old saying that says "plan your work... and work your plan".  These tools make that a snap!  

ACCESSING THE EMAC MOBILITY LIBRARY

One of the most overlooked parts of a fitness journey is typically the area of flexibilty and mobility.  We've included in your EMAC Membership app a set of tools to help you in this area.  When you click on Mobility in your member app you'll have the option to take the mobility assessment, or you can just access the mobility library.

Within the library you'll be able to select an area of the body you may be having trouble with or just want to work on. Once you're inside you'll see guided videos on how to work on your flexibilty and mobility for whatever area of your body needs attention!  Each video is between 10-20 minutes.  

These exercises are a fantastic addition to your daily workout and will enable you to reach new levels of fitness and performance.  If you're in need of additional advice or insight on "the best" stretches and movements, we also have some amazing Personal Trainers that can work with you to find and fix those "tight" spots that might be holding you back.
